Company or person who manufactures or imports phase-in substances equal to or more than 1 ton per year needs to notify Korea Environment Corporation (KECO) of use information, amount, etc. of the chemical substance.

Only those pre-registered phase-in substances can benefit from registration grace periods, during which one can manufacture or import those pre-registered substances without full registrations.

cf) Manufacturers/importers that manufactured or imported at least one ton per year of an phase-in substance between 2016 and 2018, shall submit application for pre-registration between 1 Jan. 2019 and 30 Jun. 2019.
